Clinical Experiences

All clinical teacher candidates must submit clinical experience documentation in Campus Solutions. Once submitted, instructors of record will approve documentation so the experiences can be formally counted toward a teacher candidate’s clinical experience requirements.

For faculty assistance in approving the pre-clinical observation form, please use the training video. If you have questions, please e-mail ClinicalQuestions@IllinoisState.edu.

Tips:

All hours should be approved or rejected by the instructor of record.
If a teacher candidate entered incorrect information, please do not reject the submission. Documentation will automatically be returned to the teacher candidate for editing.
Teacher candidates should e-mail ClinicalQuestions@IllinoisState.edu when issues occur.
Documentation of all clinical experiences should be approved by the instructor of record before the start of the next semester.
